The 992.2-generation Porsche 911 GT3 is an evolution of the original 992 GT3 (.1), refining performance, technology, and comfort while retaining its naturally aspirated, track-focused character.

Key updates from the 992.1 include:

  • Transmission: Improved gear linkage for the manual, and updated PDK software for faster, more precise shifts.
  • Aerodynamics: Refined front and rear aero, including redesigned rear wing endplates and diffuser for enhanced downforce and stability.
  • Suspension & Chassis: Adaptive dampers and rear-axle steering retuned for sharper handling and improved ride quality.
  • Interior & Technology: Upgraded Porsche Communication Management (PCM), enhanced driver-assistance options, and ergonomic refinements.
  • Weight & Efficiency: Minor component weight reductions and material optimizations for better performance metrics.

The 992.2 GT3 retains the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine (≈502 hp) and is available with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed PDK.

Paint Options:
The 992.2 GT3 largely builds on the standard range of the 992.1 but introduces a range of new colors. Shades like Shark Blue, Python Green and Arctic Grey were discontinued in favor of Vanadium Grey metallic, Ice Grey metallic, Cartagena Yellow and Lugano Blue to bring it in line with other models.

Ruby Star Neo which was introduced while the 992.1 was in production also isn't renewed but two new 'Neo' colors take its place under the new 'Legends' paint range: Oak Green Metallic Neo and Slate Grey Neo.

Obviously a whole range of additional colors is available at an additional cost through PTS.
