McLaren Sabre

Body type Coupe
Production 2020 - 2020

The McLaren Sabre is one of the rarest MSO-built hypercars, created as a bespoke project for McLaren’s top clients in North America. Though derived from the McLaren Senna, the Sabre features around 70% unique components, including a completely reworked body, revised aero surfaces, and a distinctive elongated rear profile developed specifically for high-speed stability. It is also McLaren’s most powerful non-hybrid road car, with its twin-turbo V8 tuned to 824 hp, giving it a higher top speed than the Senna.

Every Sabre was engineered to U.S. homologation standards, even though several owners took delivery in other regions. Customers participated directly in the development process, even driving prototypes at the Thermal Club during testing, an unusually hands-on approach even by MSO standards. Production was limited to 15 customer cars, plus one additional unit built for the family of Mansour Ojjeh, one of McLaren’s most important historic clients.
