The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a limited-production hybrid-electric supercar. Officially unveiled on August 14, 2021, it pays homage to the iconic original Lamborghini Countach, introduced 50 years earlier. Designed by Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini's Head of Design, the LPI 800-4 blends futuristic performance with classic styling cues.
Based on the Sián FKP 37, the Countach LPI 800-4 features a hybridized powertrain and cutting-edge technology. Only 112 units of this exclusive model will be produced—a nod to the LP 112 internal development code used for the original Countach. Remarkably, all 112 units sold out in less than a week after its debut. Deliveries began in early 2022.
Specifications & Performance
The Countach LPI 800-4 shares its carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and mechanical architecture with the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, (which launched in 2019). It is powered by a mild-hybrid system that delivers a total output of 599 kW (814 PS / 803 hp) to all four wheels via Lamborghini’s all-wheel-drive system.
At the heart of this powertrain is a longitudinally-mounted (LP) 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing 574 kW (780 PS / 770 hp). This is paired with a 48-volt electric motor, contributing additional power and improved efficiency without compromising the thrilling performance expected from a Lamborghini.
