The Ferrari Daytona SP3, unveiled in November 2021 at Italy’s Mugello Circuit, is a limited-production supercar that pays homage to Ferrari’s legendary 1-2-3 finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. As the third model in Ferrari’s exclusive Icona series, the SP3 blends classic racing design with cutting-edge performance.
Inspired by iconic 1960s Ferrari prototypes like the 330 P4, the Daytona SP3 features bold sculpted curves, a wraparound windshield, and a dramatic rear end with signature horizontal slats. The design captures the spirit of Ferrari’s endurance racing golden era while using advanced modern materials.
At its core is a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, derived from the 812 Competizione and refined to deliver 829 horsepower (840 CV). It’s the most powerful non-hybrid V12 ever fitted to a Ferrari road car. Mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the SP3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0–62 mph) in under 3 seconds.
Only 599 units of the Daytona SP3 were produced, with all of them already being sold by invitation to previous Ferrari owners for around $2.25 million each at the time of unveiling. All 499 owners of the Monza SP1 and SP2 have also purchased the SP3.
