The Aston Martin Valiant is an ultra-limited, track-focused special model developed by Aston Martin’s Q by Aston Martin division as a more advanced and more exclusive version of the Valour, born from a Fernando Alonso commission. Built as a modern interpretation of a lightweight, driver-centric Aston Martin, the Valiant is limited to just 38 units worldwide, making it one of the rarest modern Astons ever produced.
Mechanically, the Valiant is based on the current-generation V12 platform, retaining the 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, an increasingly rare configuration in modern supercars. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels, reinforcing its purist intent. Extensive weight reduction measures were applied, including widespread use of exposed carbon fiber for the body panels, aero components, and interior structure.
Visually, the Valiant is defined by aggressive aerodynamic elements, including a fixed rear wing, enlarged front splitter, and deep side skirts, all designed to improve downforce and track stability. The design references Aston Martin’s historic competition cars while remaining clearly modern in execution.
Each Valiant was individually specified through Q by Aston Martin, with bespoke paint finishes, exposed carbon variations, and tailored interior trims playing a major role in its identity. As a result, no two cars are exactly alike, and paint choice is a central part of the model’s collectability.
