Porsche x Smeg: intersection of automotive prestige and home lifestyle
Now’s your chance to bring Porsche’s iconic paint finishes and design language into your home without your partner questioning your life choices. In a collaboration that blends motorsport heritage with Italian style, Porsche and Smeg have teamed up to create a limited-edition collection of kitchen appliances that carry the same attention to finish, detail, and craftsmanship you’d expect from a 911.
From vibrant racing-inspired reds to subtle metallic tones like Carrara White and Shade Green, this lineup brings the beauty of Porsche’s paintwork to a new environment, one that lives in your kitchen instead of your garage.
Two legacies, one vision
United by a shared focus on craftsmanship, surface detail, and timeless aesthetics, Porsche and Smeg have created a collection that bridges the thrill of motorsport with the artistry of daily life.
“At the heart of this collaboration lies a shared philosophy: to craft objects that are not only functional but also emotionally resonant,” explains Stefan Büscher, CEO of Porsche Lifestyle Group.
“Collaborating with Porsche has allowed us to push the boundaries of what a kitchen appliance can represent,” adds Vittorio Bertazzoni, Chairman of Smeg. “This collection is a tribute to craftsmanship, legacy, and the beauty of everyday rituals.”
The result is a capsule series that reinterprets Smeg’s retro-inspired design language through Porsche’s distinctive colors and finishes, each piece finished with subtle striping, matte-black accents, and paintwork drawn directly from the brand’s palette.
We'll go over some of the available items below.
Fridge 917 Salzburg – Porsche x Smeg
The collaboration is anchored by a limited-edition range inspired by the 1970 Porsche 917 KH Salzburg, the car that achieved Porsche’s first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Finished in 917 Salzburg Red, the Fridge 917 Salzburg and Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine 917 Salzburg feature Porsche’s signature racing stripe and the number 23 roundel, paying homage to the winning livery. Each model is individually numbered — 1,970 units in total and detailed with matte-black hardware and darker interior trims.
For enthusiasts, it’s more than a kitchen appliance; it’s a collectible piece that carries the same design DNA found in Porsche’s most storied race cars.
Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine 917 Salzburg – Porsche x Smeg
Compact and powerful, this coffee machine takes cues from Porsche’s racing heritage. Finished in the same Salzburg Red with the number 23 graphics, it features matte-black accents and Porsche lettering along the side. Beyond design, it’s equipped with a built-in grinder and professional brewing system, a perfect balance of form and function.
Fridge – Porsche x Smeg
For those drawn to Porsche’s more contemporary finishes, the collection includes fridges finished in Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic, both shades familiar to paint enthusiasts. With matte-black handles, darker interior trims, and Porsche striping along the door, these designs bring automotive color precision to an everyday object.
Toaster – Porsche x Smeg
The Porsche x Smeg toaster carries the same design cues, a Carrara White or Shade Green Metallic body with black accents and the Porsche stripe. It offers six browning levels and three functions (Reheat, Defrost, Bagel), merging performance with minimalist style.
Kettle – Porsche x Smeg
A functional centerpiece finished in Porsche’s signature tones, the kettle features the Porsche stripe, matte-black detailing, and subtle Porsche-inspired icons on the temperature gauge. With a 1.7 L capacity, it combines Smeg’s 1950s charm with a distinctly modern precision.
Blender – Porsche x Smeg
Completing the lineup is a matching blender, available in Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic. Matte-black details, a numbered control knob, and multiple preset modes bring Porsche-level engineering to a kitchen essential.
Availability
The Porsche × Smeg collection is available from October 15, 2025, exclusively through Smeg flagship stores, authorized dealers, Porsche Design Stores, Porsche Centres, and online via smeg.com and porsche.com.
