For nearly four decades, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur has been at the heart of personalisation in Zuffenhausen. From bespoke paint colours and luxurious interior trims to one-off special editions, it is where individuality meets craftsmanship. Today, almost every Porsche carries a personal touch from this programme.

Now, Porsche has taken the next step: the world’s very first Exclusive Manufaktur showroom, opened at Porsche Centre Gelderland on 30 September 2025.

A new milestone for Gelderland

Porsche Centre Gelderland is no stranger to firsts. Nearly 20 years after opening its doors, and 10 years after establishing the world’s first Porsche Classic Centre, the dealership has added another global milestone to its name.

This milestone was not a corporate rollout but the vision of Mark Wegh, Managing Director and owner of Porsche Centre Gelderland. In close cooperation with Porsche AG and Dutch importer Pon Porsche Import, Wegh championed the creation of a dedicated Exclusive Manufaktur space, making Gelderland the stage for a global first once again.

“Porsche Centre Gelderland opened almost twenty years ago; since then we’ve been continuously expanding the brand experience and the services we provide,” says Wegh. “This showroom marks another special milestone. Once again, we’ve brought something unique to the Netherlands, but most importantly, it allows us to make the purchase of a Porsche an even more exclusive experience for our customers.”

A new kind of showroom

The showroom is built on the Destination Porsche retail concept, which combines sales, service and brand experience in one. But its execution in Gelderland goes further, focusing entirely on personalisation:

  • A fully redesigned showroom dedicated to Exclusive Manufaktur.
  • An interactive configuration area, centred around a large digital screen.
  • Inspiration models to showcase what is possible.
  • One of the most extensive collections of leather and color samples, allowing customers to create their own unique combinations.

With the guidance of specialist advisors, customers can explore the full spectrum, from established Exclusive Manufaktur options to the development of entirely new shades via Paint to Sample Plus. Every detail, from stitching to trim to paint finish, can be shaped to individual taste.

Exclusive Manufaktur as a cornerstone

The expansion is more than just a showroom. It reflects Porsche’s global strategy, where individualisation has become a cornerstone of the brand.

“Exclusive Manufaktur has been Porsche's individualisation programme for nearly four decades now — almost every car we build incorporates at least one option from this range,” explains Alexander Fabig, Vice President Individualisation and Classic at Porsche. “From Exclusive Manufaktur options and Paint to Sample, to limited-edition series such as the 911 Spirit 70, this programme is a cornerstone of our product strategy and is in high demand worldwide. We are therefore delighted not only to continue expanding our offer in the future, but also to make it accessible to everyone here in the Netherlands.”

The numbers speak for themselves:

  • 98% of 911 buyers worldwide select at least one Exclusive Manufaktur option.
  • The configurator already offers more than 1,000 options across all model lines.
  • The Paint to Sample programme adds over 190 exterior colours.
  • For ultimate individuality, the Sonderwunsch programme allows true one-off builds.
  • Manthey Racing kits further extend personalisation for track enthusiasts.

Official handover

The showroom’s opening ceremony included the official handover of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur certificate, presented to Gelderland’s management team by representatives of Porsche AG. The symbolic gesture marks Gelderland as the first certified Exclusive Manufaktur showroom worldwide.

Alongside Wegh, attendees included Alexander Fabig (Vice President Individualisation and Classic, Porsche AG), Berry Vlaanderen (Manager Pon Porsche Import), Alice Schouten (Managing Director Pon Porsche Import), and Julia Recker (Sales Operations Individualisation and Classic, Porsche AG).

Redefining the Porsche experience

For customers, the impact is clear: the journey of buying a Porsche is no longer limited to choosing from existing options, but instead becomes a creative process with almost limitless potential. From heritage-inspired limited editions to bespoke one-off commissions, the Exclusive Manufaktur showroom is designed to turn imagination into reality.

Or, as Porsche themselves put it: in a world of mass production, the desire for something truly unique has never been stronger.
