A look back at BMW Mexico's #M4Challenge: 16 unique Individual M4s
In November of 2019, BMW Mexico created an unforgettable experience for car enthusiasts with their #M4Challenge, showcasing 16 unique BMW M4 models customized by BMW Individual and equipped with M Performance parts. Each car was a one-of-a-kind creation, combining unique colors, exclusive interior finishes and other special options that reflected the spirit of BMW’s iconic M division. Fans were invited to vote online for the model that best captured the essence of the BMW M4, making it a truly interactive celebration of automotive design and engineering.
The Concept: BMW Individual Meets M Performance
The M4 Challenge highlighted the limitless possibilities of BMW Individual personalization. Each car integrated a selection of M Performance accessories from carbon-fiber components and aerodynamic elements to the brakes and exhaust system. This combination allowed BMW enthusiasts in Mexico to experience bespoke craftsmanship at its finest, with some of the most uniquely configured M4s.
The cars were displayed (and eventually sold) across BMW dealerships in Mexico, where fans could admire each unique build and cast their votes online. We'll go over all of them in more detail below.
After the voting closed, the Twilight Purple M4 was selected as the fan favorite, exemplifying both style and performance in the eyes of the public.
BMW Mexico wasn't the only importer to do something special near the end of production for the F8X M3 and M4 as several other importers did something similar. Let us know if you want us to highlight these as well!
Frozen Brilliant White
Location: BMW Farrera Península Cancún
This car stands out as the only Convertible among the 16 M4s in the #M4Challenge.

The brightest of the bunch.
